    THE POSITION

    The Flutter Finance Business Intelligence and Analytics team is the key source of financial figures used throughout the business, from statutory to daily flash reporting. The team encompasses all streams (Retail and Online) and geographies throughout the Group and is split between US, UK&I and International.

    This role will be focused on FanDuel. The ideal candidate will play a key part in developing and delivering a coherent business intelligence strategy across the group, ensuring financial metrics are defined accurately and consistently and delivered in a timely and appropriate manner. Key to this is the ability to interpret and convert financial terms into data definitions and develop sustainable solutions to present these. Ideally, the candidate would have experience with at least 2 of: Data, Finance and Sports betting/Gambling.

    In addition to the specific responsibilities outlined above, employees may be required to perform other such duties as assigned by the Company. This ensures operational flexibility and allows the Company to meet evolving business needs.

    THE GAME PLAN

    • Understand and build data definitions behind financial metrics. Be a driving force in ensuring consistent use of these throughout the Flutter Group.
    • Act as key link between the Data team and the business; cultivate relationships to ensure all points of view can be understood and considered
    • Contribute to the onboarding of additional brands and products into the Finance Data Delivery Model, including building and orchestrating revenue files
    • Translate business requirements into specifications that will be used to develop data warehouse design and configuration
    • Liaise with core Finance teams and beyond to ensure statutory requirements are met; provision of information for external auditors as necessary
    • Use ETL tools to automate data storage and look for opportunities to streamline and harmonize processes
    • Design and implement technology best practices, guidelines and repeatable processes

    • 2+ years of relevant experience
    • Strong educational background
    • Experience with BI reporting and data visualization solutions
    • Understanding of Financial terms and definitions.
    • An interest in sports and betting
    • Skilled at writing SQL modelling and querying relational databases and ensuring best practice is adhered to
    • Knowledge of ETL tools
    • Knowledge and experience using Python is an advantage
    • Professional and positive approach, combined with good time management, organizational and multitasking skills.
    • Proactivity and innovation – capacity to take the initiative to identify improvements in process and assist management in implementation.
    • Communication skills are important, with the ability to communicate both within the team and to members of the wider business both essential.
    • Flexible, enjoying a frequently changing and fast-paced environment.
