About This Role
We are hiring our first People Analytics Lead to build and scale the foundation of people analytics at OutSystems. This strategic and hands-on role will shape how we use data to make better decisions about our people, culture, and organization. You’ll define key metrics, create intuitive dashboards, and uncover insights that drive workforce strategy—while collaborating closely with People, Finance, Data Science, and business leaders.

What You Will Lead/Do or Key Responsibilities
Strategy & Vision
- Develop and own our people analytics roadmap, aligned to business and HR priorities
- Establish clear, actionable metrics and KPIs across the employee lifecycle.
- Design a scalable people data architecture, ensuring high data quality, ownership, and governance standards across systems .
Analytics & Reporting
- Design, build, and maintain dashboards and reports using data from Workday and other sources.
- Conduct in-depth analyses related to headcount, turnover, recruiting, performance, engagement, DEI, and compensation.
- Translate complex data into simple stories that enable business leaders to act.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with Finance on headcount planning and workforce modeling – playing a key role in the company’s strategic workforce planning initiative.
- Collaborate with People Development & Experience, HRIS, Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards, and People Success to support initiatives with data and insights.
- Act as the point of contact for People data requests from executive stakeholders.
Scalability & Enablement
- Create self-service tools and templates that empower PSMs and leaders to explore their own data – as well as other teams through the department / business.
- Promote a culture of data-driven decision-making within the People team and beyond.
- Improve data integrity and reporting capabilities in Workday, and advocate for smart data governance
Qualifications / What You Need To Succeed
- 5-10 years of experience in people analytics, business intelligence, or related roles.
- Strong proficiency in Power BI (or similar visualization tools) and data storytelling.
- Hands-on experience with Workday HCM, including advanced reporting capabilities (e.g., Report Writer, Calculated Fields, BIRT, and/or Workday Studio).
- Solid understanding of People programs and practices (e.g., headcount planning, recruiting, engagement, performance, compensation).
- High analytical rigor and attention to detail; capable of both strategic thinking and tactical execution.
- Strong collaborator with the ability to influence across departments and levels.
- Excellent communication skills—able to translate data into actionable insights for a non-technical audience.
Bonus If You Have:
- Background in predictive analytics or statistical modeling.
- Curiosity and interest in leveraging AI.
- Experience building scalable data infrastructure or pipelines.
